These Terms & Conditions govern purchases from and use of basichats.com. By placing an order or using the site, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy.
Products and availability
Basic Hats sells physical baseball caps. We aim to describe colors, materials, dimensions, and availability accurately, but screens and lighting can make colors look slightly different. Product availability may change without notice.
Prices, taxes, and shipping
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes and shipping charges are displayed before you submit an order. You are responsible for providing accurate billing, shipping, and contact information and for reviewing the final total before payment.
Orders and payment
Submitting checkout is an offer to buy. An order is accepted when payment succeeds and we send an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order before shipment for stock errors, pricing errors, suspected fraud, payment failure, shipping restrictions, or other reasonable operational or legal reasons. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount charged.
PayPal and PayPal-hosted card components process payment information. Their terms and privacy practices also apply to their services. Do not send card numbers or account passwords to Basic Hats by email.
Shipping and delivery
Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Tracking and carrier scans determine shipment progress. Please review your shipping address before payment; we cannot promise an address change after fulfillment begins. Lost, damaged, or incorrect shipments are handled under our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Returns and refunds
Return eligibility, condition requirements, shipping responsibility, and refund timing are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in details secure. You may not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with checkout or security controls, submit fraudulent orders, scrape the store in a way that disrupts service, or use the site in violation of law.
Site content
The Basic Hats name, site design, product art, photographs, copy, and other store content are owned by or licensed to Basic Hats. You may use the site for personal shopping, but may not reproduce or commercially exploit its content without written permission.
Service availability and liability
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. To the extent permitted by law, Basic Hats is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or a purchase. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, and any direct liability is limited to the amount paid for the order giving rise to the claim.
Governing law
New York law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally may be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Queens County, New York, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
